Options Trading
Charting Markets, Managing Risk, Discipline, and Capturing Opportunities.
While actively managing my portfolios, I was monitoring the equity markets movements daily. I realised that there were opportunities to generate gains through the use of 0DTE (Date-To-Expiry) options. I had already built a strong foundation and understanding in options. By applying strategies such as selling covered calls and other structured approaches on my long-term positions, which gave me the confidence to explore trading more actively.
Options allowed a way to pair risk management with consistent opportunities, turning market movements into disciplined and structured trades.

My Trading Philosophy
I learned this the hard way but to be a consistently profitable trader, one must follow a disciplined routine. Guesswork may deliver short-term wins, but luck always runs out, and when it does, the market will take back every dime and more. I’ve lost thousands by trading without discipline and ignoring the rules I should have followed.
However losses are lessons. Each setback sharpens decision-making and underscores the need for structure. Position sizing and stop losses are critical, without them, even a solid setup can turn into an outsized loss. Equally important is developing a clear understanding of price action. Combined with discipline, risk management, and continuous learning is what separate luck from long-term success.
Overall, I feel that trading has helped me build a better discipline in risk management and instilled a deeper sense of discipline that extends beyond markets into other areas of my life.
